Hippies and libertarians
Feb. 2nd, 2014 06:05 amBack around 1970, I decided that since the best policy for the government to take towards drugs, consensual sex, dirty books, and wars in Asia was to mind its own business, that might work for everything. I no longer believe that; it's now more like wishing. Here is a history of hippies and libertarians.

Nov. 20th, 2012 07:56 amTa-Nehisi Coates said that the hippies won the presidential election. (He was in favor.) A soon-taken-down Religious Right screed said it was the "sluts." (They weren't.) Some say the queer vote made the difference. Love it! If only George McGovern had lived to see it.
