I'm thinking more about that post I did yesterday about living in a deprived world because we didn't let enough women become scientists. It could be worse. If the authorities had been able to enforce the belief that Percy Lavon Julian was the wrong color to be a scientist, either someone else would have figured out how to synthesize corticosteroids or I'd be dead.
