Yeah, that was uncomfortable reading. annafdd brought up Pinochet, and I'm going to bring up the Shah. As a country, many Americans are not as far removed from blood price as they'd like to believe. (And sometimes at first hearing of an atrocity, neither am I. Mostly I calm down later.)
