Bloody fucking Hell. Because of Wikipedia's myopic editorial preference for the NYT I or someone else will now have to go back and re-edit the Cronkite article and leave messages throughout it saying "Yes, they published a correction on this, don't change it back." And that was a pretty damning article overall--I had not realized the misspellings and solecisms at the Times that they refused to hire me to correct extended to people's names!
