I will join Google Plus when I can think of a good reason besides expressing my opinion of Facebook. One such would be if G+ gave up its repulsively Facebook-like policy of requiring plausible-looking usernames.

Actually, that's what inspired me to join Google+. I consider LJ semiprivate; I keep my real name off it, and I would just as soon my family and friends didn't read it. But I'm okay with having Google+ use my real name, and I can be public with that one.

But I agree that pseudoanonymity should be enabled.
