I have a conditioned reaction to censorship. When I see letters blanked out in a word, I want to say something like, "Wassamatter, can't spell fuck?" I can see some argument for doing it with really offensive words, but I'm glad that Ta-Nehisi Coates says it's OK for white people to quote the word nigger when someone else has used it.

The hilarious thing is that I bet I have done just that--refrain from full-on typing swear words, I mean--in here before, out of a vague sense of "someone else's space, better behave." LOL.
