Wait, what? The article makes very little sense to me--I thought one of the key aspects was limited empathy. This "escape into fiction" and "20% of anorexics" thing is perplexing, since fictional escapes usually rely upon some identification with characters in books and anorexia is often--though not always--a reaction to social expectation.

I think to some extent it's dueling definitions. They may be working from one that emphasizes extreme introversion and puts less weight on empathy.
