The Obama administration's brief in one anti-DOMA lawsuit may be tactical. I hope so.

That DOJ piece went a lot further than it needed to overturn the lawsuit. If that was tactical, then it was overkill, making the over all struggle harder. If they wanted to shoot down the case as a cover for passing the coverage for fed workers, they didn't have to enshrine so many right wing talking points to do that.
