"Matzohgate"
Mar. 31st, 2010 08:37 amMaybe my favorite G.K. Chesterton quote is "Once a man decides that any stick is good enough to beat his opponent with, he often picks up a boomerang."
Carly Fiorina is running for the Senate on the promise of doing for California what she did for Hewlett-Packard, which should be enough in itself to encourage support for any opponent who does not induce vomiting. Now she's being picked on for talking about "breaking bread" on Passover. Ha, ha, dummy, Jews eat matzoh!
Except that every seder I've been to refers to the matzoh as "unleavened bread," and of course it's easier to break than most kinds. It's kind of like you've got a guy who helped cover up hundreds of child rapes and you get on his case for not dodging the draft 65 years ago.
