As Calvin said to Hobbes, “We must be careful not to learn from this.” The beginning of COVID forced many organizations to allow employees to work from home, and an overwhelming number of employees liked it that way. Now the bosses want the workers to return to “birth, commutation, and death”* and they’re losing a lot of their best people

Yep. And these bosses are trying to ignore the facts about airborne infections. Too bad for them.

I can certainly understand the reluctance to commute or deal with working in an office when the work can be done well from home. Employers demanding RTO are short-sighted.
