Some fascinating maps there; I don't get the slant of "most of us found cartography boring", who the heck got to study cartography in school unless they took A-level geography or something? Would have been fun, though I was never neat enough.
I wonder whether the eagle one is the bird that depleted the entire budget for the tracking study by incurring massive cellphone roaming charges in Iran.
