I'm one of them. I'm an adult convert to Catholicism, and as such I think abortion is generally a bad thing, but it must be left to individual choice and conscience.

Well said. Furthermore it drives me spare that the framing in the US makes it sound like such a perfectly sensible stance could be a contradiction in terms. Almost as spare as the fact that the so-called 'pro-life' movment is also against birth control, which one would think people would favor -- preventing unwanted pregnancies prevents abortions after all.
