Alas, my 77-year-old asthmatic lungs dassn’t get on an airline, so I will have to skip the ICFA {International Conference on the the Fantastic in the Arts, which it actually says in tiny letters on the userpic) this year.

(of course, at this point you could put a bunch of iPads on Facetime on remote-control swivelpivots at seated eye level in the lounge and have pretty good telepresence if the wifi is strong enough. Then just convince someone to pick you up and take you along if you want to attend some of the program. )
