We need a good reporter or two to dig into the horror that is the Wikimedia Foundation before it kills Wikipedia.

Otherwise, I'm increasingly saddened by my experience there, and miss many good people who have left or been driven away. Some things don't scale, and ambitious people warp things. If I weren't a stubborn freak I would be long gone myself; but one way to turn it back from toxicity (including the parroting of that WMF propaganda line about 90% maleness, which ignores me and vast numbers of other female editors who don't have sparkly pink boxes on our user pages) would be an influx of other dreamers and writers, so I stay and hope.
