As a geek/nerd/differently socialized person, I practically believe that "nonverbal communication" is a contradiction in terms. One corollary is that there is no such thing as dressing so as to invite groping, tasteless comments, or other harassment. Geek Feminism agrees.

When I read of this kind of thing happening at cons, I am so very glad I've never been to one.
