Has Trump finally jumped the shark? Will taking thousands of children from their parents and holding them for political ransom finally get through to the millions of white people stupid and mean enough to go along with all the other horrible things he’s done?

No. His base approves, according to what I've seen in the news.

There's a huge punish-the-bad-people streak among his base, and 'badness' appears to be at least partly genetic in their view. Certainly children aren't considered innocent, if members of a category defined as bad.

I do know I've told the girls to go to college in Canada. I think they're better off betting on being out of the USA for their adult lives.
