It's utterly wrong, of course, but the mother comes across as if she hasn't bothered to think about anything, ever, if the parish never allows breaches of the dresscode and the dresscode is clearly set out, then putting your kid through something that's clearly not allowed instead of simply changing parish beforehand is just cruel.
