Thoughts on the Super Bowl
Feb. 8th, 2021 07:27 am1. My two longtime low-rent interests—science fiction and pro football—have not profited from becoming mass-market faves. I miss the Super Bowls that were played at 1:00 with only the usual number of commercials.
2. If one of them had to win it this year, I'm glad it was Brady and not Evil Little Bill.
3. It wasn’t as bad as Rams-Patsies a few years ago.
4. The flag kissing seemed less militaristic this year. Be grateful for small favors
5. But I’m glad I never wanted to buy a Jeep.
6. The two old-white-guy head coaches should retire and turn their teams over to their offensive coordinators.
