Back in the mid-70s, when I was trying to get up the courage to do a fanzine, Susan Wood was probably the #1 reviewer in the field. Her vision of what a zine could be did much to convince me that I could get away with it. As you know, Bob, I was right about that, and most of the good stuff in my life comes from that decision. She had a similar effect on William Gibson
