I am suspicious of this “really want” stuff. It is well known that many women have rape fantasies without “really wanting” to be raped. Some of the men who fantasize about boys or sheep while having sex with women really want boys or sheep, and some really want to have sex with women while fantasizing about boys or sheep. It’s always more complicated.

This reminds me of the hoohah a few years back with those researchers claiming to be associated with a Top Academic Institution on very flimsy grounds and wanted to mine slash fanfic to make some very debatable evpsych point.

Yes, that was pretty unsatisfactory. I think it would have been even if I didn't spend 5 nights a week purveying tranny porn. Where to even begin ... it might be worth querying the two gentlemen on whether they have thought about the implications of their term "completion". Or whether they always eat simply to fend off starvation. And whether all their searches are in the forms of questions such as "My husband wants ... " - or whether they search for one movie at a time on a movie site and then watch it to the end. But I would have thought looking at Pornhub's own published analyses would have started the author thinking in a more nuanced way about search.

It's worth mentioning that porn is verboten in India, so searches there related to porn will always be either inept or concealing.
