Ooh, I wish Standard Ebooks would take on Richard Burton's Arabian Nights (1000 Nights and a Night). I was so happy to see that Project Gutenberg had transcribed that -- and then gave up after 10 pages or so, because it was totally unreadable to me, both in terms of format and transcription errors.
Also, I'm a little sad to see Pat Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles listed with the obscure books, since it's never been out of print, and is now selling well in ebook format.
I'm happy about the better formatting (PG started out as plain text for everything, which is possibly better than nothing....) but I draw the line at "Light & tasteful modernization" of the text. As a proofer for DP, I certainly understand the temptation, but JUST SAY NO.
As for the Wrede books, note that the person who wrote in is all of 28: 18 years ago is more than half their life ago! And the extra publicity maybe won't hurt?
