supergee50 years ago today the Supreme Court decided the appropriately named case of Loving v. Virginia, banishing the primitive tribal taboo that forbade marriage between people who could plausibly be put into different boxes under the fraudulent category of “Race.” A few years ago the late Mildred Loving said that she hoped she would be a precedent for same-sex marriage, and she has been. Oh, and we won gender; number is next.
