Back in the day, “Communists” were the ones who wanted to use big guys with guns and clubs to make everybody equal, and “Socialists” were those nice Scandinavian countries where they had living wages and single-payer health care, while the Right attempted to tell us that the Socialists were really Communists in drag. Communism brought itself into such disrepute that the people who want to use big guys with guns and clubs to make everybody equal are now calling themselves Socialists and insisting that Bernie Sanders isn’t a real one. Those guys are what the Republicans and Big Media want us to believe Bernie Sanders is like, and I don’t.
