Stephen Fry is a were-asshole. He’s a brilliant writer (“Latin, or Tobacco and Boys” is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read) and a compassionate thinker on issues like gayness and bipolarity, but every so often he says something really stupid, like the bit about trigger warnings or his idea that women don’t really like sex all that much. Laurie Penny has some perceptive things to say about him.
