Blokes always are like that. I remember at law school being treated as unclean and to be whispered about because I unloaded a heap of shopping and left my tampon box on the kitchen table while I unpacked and stored the fridge stuff in priority. Total of five minutes those newly-bought tampons sat on that kitchen table in their shrink-wrapped, surgically sealed glory and yet it justified my flatmate telling his girlfriend to tell my other flatmate that he should tell his girlfriend to Speak to me.

But that's just an amusing anecdote. Trust me, men hated women with periods all the time.
