That was a pretty good article. Alexander didn't explicitly acknowledge the paternalism and patronizing attitude that often comes with the medical profession, but I think he caught the important bit about Approach 2's requiring some compassion. I prefer a collaborative approach with my healthcare providers, and dialogue can help with that, yes?
