Locus Award winners. My favorite is Jo Walton's delightful What Makes This Book So Great, which along with a bunch of other deserving books was elbowed off the Hugo ballot by a slate including a collection of tweets by a guy who took advantage of the Charleston shootings to demonstrate that he can't even manage to be funny when he's being hateful and bigoted. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
