Maybe the GOP should have a stepping on ants contest and whoever steps on the most will get a prize. And we'll try not to look aghast at the contestants. If we all contributed to their prize, would they stop this crap?

The thing that horrifies me the most about banning seafood (even tinned tuna in some cases!) for food stamps is that pregnant women and children NEED tonnes of omega-3 (of which seafood is one of the best sources) for brain development.

Because limiting the access of poor people to vital brain-developing nutrients won't have any unfortunate long term consequences... /sarcasm.
