They are feminists. That dig (which is Marcotte's as well as yours) about "dressed up as" or "cross-dressing as" feminists is, in my opinion, inappropriate as well as nasty. I don't subscribe to anti-porn feminist thought, but I absolutely want those people in my tent, just as I would not want to say that old-school Marxists (whose opinions I am not fond of) are not real anti-capitalists.

She's talking about two kinds of people: the antiporn feminists and the right wingers who try to coopt the antiporn feminists. The latter could be described as cross-dressing, but since she's talking about both, I shouldn't have describd the article that way.

*IF* there is a time to say something like "dressed up as"/"cross-dressing as" - it's when you're saying that the person is claiming X in order to accomplish Anti-X.
