I know it's not the point of the article, but I think the pissing in the crisps and waiting for your bullies to grab them ploy is kind of awesome. It's not like she hit them over the head with a bag of piss--they had to engage in overpowering her to suffer any ill effects. Maybe I'm not over being bullied in high school, but I still think it's a cleverly appropriate response at a time when school bullying was not being taken as seriously as it is starting to be now, and that is not of any Carrie-like extreme. I'm sorry she regrets it, and that she indicates she was reprimanded for it, which is so sad. Ah well.
Edit: Reread--she held the bag out to them, rather than the bullies taking the bag, as the following statement hints at, and I don't know what form or degree their bullying took, so maybe it wasn't so OK. I can't judge from the info provided. But it still reads like the victim being seen as the problem rather than the bullies in the adult response to her behavior, and she's left with the shame.
