I've worked for places infested by most of these policies.

And then there was the person who correctly guessed I was the person who had written a bad review on Glassdoor, accusing the company of offering training courses on interviewing that featured specific suggestions likely to weed out people on the Asperger's spectrum, persisting even when I pointed out they'd tend to weed out people from other cultures. (I hadn't dared point out Asperger's in person.)

So I got a phone call about my Glassdoor comments, wherein I claimed I had an Aspie in my family, and so was sensitized. (I clearly wasn't inclined to out myself, and I do have a family tree full of Aspies.) And somewhere in the conversation I was told that they intended to do everything the law required (with regard to Aspies). Which I, of course, heard as "and absolutely nothing more." Which is pretty much what they were doing - if you could provide a diagnostic statement, you might have been able to get minimal specific accommodations, along with an implicit "don't promote that dweeb; zie should be grateful to have a job at all" Or so I surmise - I didn't out myself, and I did find a new job after an unusually short time with the company.
