Call it antisemitism. Islam is as essentially Semitic as Judaism, the Hebrew and Arabic languages being but slightly different branches of the West Semitic tree.
Christians traditionally read their scriptures, if not in the vernacular, then in Greek, Latin, or Church Slavonic, all of them Aryan, that is to say Indo-European, tongues. Moreover, much of Christianity seems to be built with Greek or Iranian bricks, largely obscuring its Semitic foundation.
