Ah, the polygraph! That was developed by one William Moulton Marston and his wife Elizabeth. Dr. Marston is better remembered as the creator of Wonder Woman.

The polygraph was not the only poly in the Marston's lived; they lived in a polyamorous triad with a woman named Olive Byrne.
