I note your tag is "you can't make this stuff up" but given that's a Daily Telegraph retelling of a Mail on Sunday story involving the following elements: (i)Muslims; (ii) the NHS; and (iii) lethal superbugs being spread by people of faith (i) working in (ii) I've got distinct suspicions someone has

I've done some digging. It's a three-years old item which is based on a canard posted on the BNP website the facts behind which seem to be as follows:cultural guidance rules allows some relaxation of rules for staff on religious grounds where staff not engaged in direct patient care.
