One of my old WCRB colleagues, the late Dave Tucker, used to recite the opening monologue from the old "Grand Central Station" radio show when he thought there were too many people in his studio: "Grand Central Station, crossroads of a million private lives, a gigantic stage on which are set a thousand dramas daily!"

I miss Dave.
