Here's the deal with Issa.

Issa takes care of Qualcomm, making sure we're all protected from the terrors of non-CDMA mobile technology. Qualcomm gives fuck-all whatever else Issa does as long as it doesn't involve dead girls or live boys.

If there was a progressive willing to do Qualcomm's dirty work, they'd put her in Congress. This is why you have to fix the money problem at the congressional level.
