They are getting around. When I was sitting with the semi-feral kitty I feed out in Warwick MD on the eastern shore, around 9 pm or so last Thursday night, I saw the outline of a coyote come bounding across the street, loping like a big rabbit. It could have been a Pooka, but I had my bets on coyote. As it bounded nearer, I stood up and pointed my flash light, which sent it loping the other way. I could make out the big ears and bushy tail, and it definitely was standing too tall to be a fox. Excepting for worry for my kitties, it was nice to see one.
