Augh, the Vatican. I had no/slightly negative opinion on nuns until a rebellious Catholic friend told me about all the badass shit some nuns do, like teach about contraception to students even though they're not supposed to, or advocate for people with less power, stuff like that. Rebel nuns! Why am I not surprised the Vatican doesn't like 'em?
