supergeeKilpatrick will be forever confused in many people's memories with Dan Aykroyd saying, "Jane, you ignorant slut." De mortuis: although he opposed integration in the '50s, he repented of it a lot sooner than most, and he saw same-sex marriage as an analogous issue, speaking out eloquently against the marriage-hogging amendment.
