A few years ago Twitter was doing a nagathon to recruit new members. I had no desire to join but signed up to end the nagging.

Then Lone Skum bought it, either to promote his less wholesome ideas or because he was manipulated into it. (He is second only to Dolt45 hisself in behavior that raises the question Incompetent or Evil?)

Acting as usual on the assumption that he will succeed at whatever he tries either because his skills at the more predatory parts of capitalism transfer or just out of general wonderfulness, he proceeded to run the organization into the ground by following the unfunny Marx Brother’s advice to philosophers, Don’t try to understand it—try to change it.

So now it has a new name, based on Marjorie Trailer Greene’s autograph and it’s driving people away at an unprecedented pace. The latest Incompetent or Evil? Is either cheering on someone who seems like his kind of people or a tentative step out of the closet to which people of good will quite reasonably assign Friends of Adolf. Either way, piss on him and if you think he’ll enjoy it, charge him for it.

I am in the 30 days you must wait after deleting your account before it's really deleted. I'm sad and angry at the loss of what was a fun and useful tool that connected me to some people I haven't managed to find anywhere elsenet.
