I don't like pineapple on pizza, but I don't see why people consider this a big deal. On the other hand,

cattitude and I sometimes ordered pizza with anchovies on half (for him) when we lived near a pizza place where those were available.

The pizza place we sometimes order from here in Massachusetts has gyro meat as a pizza topping, which works well and isn't that different from the more standard meatballs or sausage.

I now feel like trying to put together some kind of chart of pizza toppings, and kinds of bagel, in terms of how "weird" they are, "weird" being some combination of "this was invented recently" and "no, seriously, you think that would go with lox and cream cheese?" On that notional chart, rosemary bagels are new but not weird, and bacon-jalapeño is weirder than blueberry. [I am going to post this, despite its feeling like the sort of apa "mailing comment" that had little to do with the zine it was commenting on.]
