Funny how people remember Christine as the first in the US. Shes wasn't- that was Hedy Jo Starr.
Everyone assumes that here in the UK it was April Ashley. April's still going strong,but she wasn't either- that was Roberta Cowell.
Neither Roberta nor Hedy fits the way cis people want to see us.
Christine and April were both models so they get remembered.
It's easy to understand how trans history gets constantly re-written wrongly.
And it's damnably annoying.
