An interesting idea.
The problem is that, even more than with medicine, the effects-upon-society of a new technology are pretty unpredictable. Who, looking at the invention of the automobile, would have predicted "going steady", or cruising?

The problem is that, even more than with medicine, the effects-upon-society of a new technology are pretty unpredictable. Who, looking at the invention of the automobile, would have predicted "going steady", or cruising?
