A good reason? absolutely none.
The actual reasons, starting with laziness and "the sluts brought it on themselves"? a whole pile before I even read the article.

I'm glad I read that. I'd known about the scandal of untested rape kits, and I'd known the cops show their contempt for women by clinging to the false narrative that most rape reports are false. But I hadn't known that even criminologists didn't know many rapists are serial rapists and also commit other crimes for which we have punishments on the books, and didn't know many rapists will rape any female they can, rather than being finicky and artistic like in storybooks. Well, duh. Rape culture, y'all.
