This sort of thing happened before, when localities attempted to suppress same-sex love and marriage.

Of course, in general the corporations are no smarter or kinder than the masses; most of them supported those great populist triumphs Brexit and Trump. Still, it’s good when Good triumphs over Evil, even when it does so by beating Evil about the head and shoulders with currency.
