Not George Carlin’s Seven Words

Here are the seven words the Center for Disease Control is forbidden from soiling the innocent mind of the citizenry with,
• vulnerable
• entitlement
• diversity
• transgender
• fetus
• evidence-based
• science-based
Here is a further example of the alleged thinking at work here:
In some instances, the analysts were given alternative phrases. Instead of “science-based” or “evidence-based,” the suggested phrase is “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes,” the person said. In other cases, no replacement words were immediately offered.
In other words we pander to those differently intelligent enough to think “That’s your education talking” is an argument, rather than a confession.

It's not even that: it sounds closer to "we'll make evidence-based suggestions as long as nobody screams too loudly, but we're not supposed to tell you that vaccines don't cause autism."

Making some words magic is the way you conjure magic users to overcome them.
