Bush lied, people died
Apr. 6th, 2019 05:58 am16 years ago George Dubya Bush told us that we had to invade Iraq because reasons. An alarming number of Very Serious People thought this was a peachy keen idea, but some Dirty F[ilthy] Hippies, such as me, realized that he was trying to run a shell game with a watermelon. (In Autism Acceptance Month, I recall that a woman who wrote a book about her autistic offspring said, “The boy who noticed that the emperor had no clothes was one of our kids,” but that was not a necessary condition for noticing.) Now that Dubya has forever lost his chance at Worst President Evar, some people are suggesting that we forget and go back to trusting the people who trusted him. Matt Taibbi says, “Let’s not.” [Rolling Stone]
