When I was growing up, The NY Daily News was a sensationalistic right-wing rag, but The Post was notoriously liberal (alleged headline: Snowstorm Hits Negroes, Jews Hardest). Now they’re trading places. The Post is pure Murdoch, but the News is moving left, attacking the NRA and Donald Trump. Today’s headline says BRADY HAS NO BALLS, because the New England quarterback declined to call Trump out on his hate speech. If we must have trashy tabloids, I can think of far worse targets.
