Rudy Giuliani actually has us debating whether President Obama loves our country. (One answer I like is "three-fifths as much.") Once again, a member of the Paul family (Rand this time) has said something reasonable on the question. (I blame unprotected contact with those DFH libertarians who think that Freedom should include things other than making money.) Every so often there's a Republican Special Olympics that someone wins by saying something obvious but (dare I say?) politically incorrect. Recently Dr. Ben Carson won a gold medal by pointing out that everyone should be vaccinated, but then he went to one of those elitist egghead med schools and probably knows all kinds of deep science stuff like women can't get gyno exams by swallowing a camera.

Thanx to Charles P. Pierce.

K. Tempest Bradford suggested not reading white straight cis male authors for one year. Larry Correia reacted badly (as reported by Mike Glyer). John Scalzi reacted sanely. So what else is new?
