Lesser of two evils loses

Paul Krugman finds hope, as well as schadenfreude, in the defeat of Eric Cantor. I continue to look forward to the ultimate Republican moment when the faction that believes Obama is a Muslim from Kenya is purged by the faction that believes he is a reptile from space.

Apparently deciding that Cantor was insufficiently heartless to represent their district, Republicans turned out to the polls to elect David Brat, a man whose political views “border on sociopathy,” according to exit-poll responses from voters who supported him.
